Clear Street is a fintech platform democratizing access to capital markets for sophisticated investors. The company provides a unified, cloud-native end-to-end platform for Securities Finance, Futures, Execution Management, Risk, and Custody/Clearing systems.
You'll join a 30+ person engineering team in Umeå, Sweden, working closely with colleagues in New York to build mobile applications that deliver seamless access to Clear Street's technology and services. In this role, you'll design and develop iOS applications with a focus on performance, usability, and reliability. You'll work end-to-end with exposure to backend systems, data, and infrastructure. Responsibilities include collaborating with business partners on mobile solutions, integrating with backend systems via REST APIs, ensuring world-class user experience, and supporting production applications.
Required qualifications: 1+ years professional iOS development experience, Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, proficiency in Swift with SwiftUI and UIKit, REST API integration experience, strong attention to design and UX, production monitoring experience, and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
Preferred: Understanding of financial markets and asset classes, mentoring/leadership experience, CI/CD for mobile (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions), App Store deployment, and automated testing (XCTest). Experience with Clear Street's broader tech stack (Golang, Python, React, AWS, Kubernetes, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Docker) is valued but not required; readiness to learn is essential.
