As an Investor Relations Associate, you will serve as a vital point of contact supporting the investor community while gaining hands-on exposure to venture capital, startup investing, investor relations, and fund operations. This role sits at the intersection of customer success, relationship management, investor communications, and financial services.
Key responsibilities include: serving as a day-to-day contact for prospective and existing investors; responding to investor questions via email, phone, webinars, and events; providing timely and accurate support using approved resources and internal playbooks; helping individuals navigate Alumni Ventures' offerings and community experience; building strong relationships with investors, community members, and internal stakeholders; delivering high-touch customer service across the investor journey; anticipating needs and resolving issues with professionalism; supporting investor onboarding and engagement efforts; collaborating with Managing Partners and Community Managers; supporting fundraising initiatives, fund operations, club programs, and syndication activities; and assisting with virtual events and investor meetings.
This role is ideal for professionals eager to learn, take ownership, and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. While prior venture capital experience is not required, successful candidates are typically interested in investing, entrepreneurship, startups, financial markets, or business strategy. You'll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and direct exposure to senior leadership, building valuable skills in communication, relationship management, project management, operations, and venture investing.
