As an Investor Relations Associate, you will serve as a vital point of contact for prospective and existing investors, supporting their journey from initial interest through investment and ongoing engagement. You'll respond to investor inquiries via email, phone, webinars, and events, providing timely and accurate support using approved resources and internal playbooks. Your responsibilities include helping individuals navigate Alumni Ventures' offerings, processes, and community experience while building strong relationships with investors, community members, and internal stakeholders.
You will deliver a high-touch, service-oriented customer experience across the investor lifecycle, anticipating needs and resolving questions with professionalism and empathy. You'll support investor onboarding and engagement efforts while collaborating closely with Managing Partners, Community Managers, and senior leaders. Additional responsibilities include supporting fundraising initiatives, fund operations, club programs, and syndication activities, as well as assisting with virtual events and investor meetings.
This role sits at the intersection of customer success, relationship management, investor communications, and financial services operations. While prior venture capital experience is not required, successful candidates are typically interested in investing, entrepreneurship, startups, financial markets, or business strategy. You'll gain hands-on exposure to venture capital, startup investing, investor relations, and fund operations through mentorship and direct exposure to senior leadership. The company operates a 5-day-a-week in-office culture, emphasizing collaboration, mentorship, and shared momentum.
