iCapital's Investor Relations team is seeking an experienced Associate / Assistant Vice President to lead client engagement and operational excellence across the Asia Pacific region, with a focus on Japanese-speaking investors and advisors.
You will serve as a trusted point of contact throughout the investment lifecycle—from onboarding through ongoing servicing—managing relationships with high-net-worth investors, financial advisors, fund sponsors, and custodians. Key responsibilities include delivering white-glove investor servicing, guiding clients through subscription and AML/KYC compliance, resolving operational bottlenecks, and liaising daily with fund administrators on capital calls, redemptions, reporting, and investor records.
You'll translate complex operational and investment requirements into clear guidance, conduct client training sessions and platform demonstrations, and support business development through RFP discussions and prospective client pitches. A significant part of the role involves driving continuous process improvement by leveraging AI tools, workflow automation, and data analytics to enhance productivity, reduce manual effort, and improve scalability.
You'll partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Compliance, Finance, Technology, and Client Solutions teams to ensure seamless service delivery and accurate communications.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field; 5–8 years in Investor Relations, Investor Services, Fund Operations, Client Services, Transfer Agency, or Alternative Investments; native-level or business-level fluency in Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) and excellent English communication skills. Experience with private equity, private credit, hedge funds, or real assets is highly desirable. You should be comfortable with senior stakeholders, demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and have proven experience using AI tools and digital transformation technologies to improve efficiency.
