Salary: USD 64,700 - 87,300 / annual
Mercury is a fintech platform providing banking, treasury, and financial workflow solutions for startups and technology companies. They are launching Mercury Treasury in 2026 and expanding the team.
As an Investment Support Specialist, you will be an early, high-impact member of a newly formed team helping to build the treasury product from the ground up. Your role bridges customer needs with product and engineering teams, combining deep product expertise with exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own customer communications via chat and email, handling application questions and complex Treasury/Invest topics
- Educate customers on product functionality and how treasury products fit within their accounts
- Address escalated issues with swift resolution while maintaining business integrity and regulatory compliance
- Build lasting relationships with users and identify systemic issues for product improvement
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, using data and insights to spot trends and propose improvements
- Create help center articles, FAQs, and customer communications
- Build processes and improve internal tools to scale Mercury's support infrastructure
- Develop deep expertise in mutual funds, equity trading, and Treasury/Invest products
- Own key metrics (CSAT, WSPPH, One Touch %, QA) and drive continuous improvement
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases and training content
Required qualifications:
- Active Series 7 + S63 or S65 (Series 99 is a plus)
- 3+ years in fintech customer experience/support or similarly complex, regulated environment
- Deep knowledge of treasury, mutual funds, and equity trading products
- Proficiency with CRM and support tools (Zendesk preferred)
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt quickly
- Proactive, ownership-oriented approach
