As Investment Products Operations Specialist, you'll join the Investment Products group in Luxembourg, reporting to the Head of Satispay's Investment Firm. You'll be a key operational leader for this growing division, responsible for the day-to-day execution and scaling of retail investment operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Order Monitoring & Daily Triage: Supervise the daily lifecycle of tens of thousands of retail trades, resolving execution discrepancies, batch order exceptions, and failed settlements across partner networks.
- Partner & Transfer Agent Operations: Serve as primary operational contact for custody and execution partners, ensuring seamless end-to-end processing of batch mutual fund subscriptions/redemptions and daily equity/ETF trades.
- Reconciliation & Discrepancy Management: Perform daily cash, position, and trade reconciliations between internal platform logs and external partner reporting to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Escalation & Engineering Liaison: Act as the operational bridge between Luxembourg finance/operations and Milan-based product/engineering teams, translating systemic issues into functional requirements.
- Operational Readiness for New Asset Classes: Lead operational setup, testing, and launch workflows for upcoming retail investment products including crypto assets, pension funds, and robo-advisory offerings.
The role is hybrid (3 days/week in-office: Tuesday, Thursday, plus 1 day of your choice), with unlimited PTO, flexible hours, and relocation support provided.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in Fintech or Investment Operations
- Solid background in wealthtech, retail brokerage, or investment management operations with hands-on exposure to mutual funds, equities, ETFs, or crypto products
- Direct experience dealing with 3rd-party custodians, trade execution partners, and transfer agents
- Experience operating within fast-growing retail platforms with focus on building repeatable, automated processes
- Fluency in English; Italian language knowledge is a strong advantage
- Problem-solving mindset, analytical, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership in fast-paced environments
