Satispay is a fintech platform serving 6.5M+ users, expanding from payments into benefits, investing, and cards. The company is building what it aims to be the most loved financial platform in the world, with a culture focused on solving real user problems and taking ownership of outcomes.
As Investment Products Operations Specialist, you'll be a key member of the growing Investment Products division in Luxembourg, reporting to the Head of Satispay's Investment Firm. You'll own the operational backbone of the retail investment business.
Key responsibilities:
• Order Monitoring & Daily Triage: Supervise the daily lifecycle of tens of thousands of retail trades, taking over operational triage from product and engineering teams to resolve execution discrepancies, batch order exceptions, and failed settlements across partner networks.
• Partner & Transfer Agent Operations: Serve as primary operational contact for custody and execution partners, ensuring seamless end-to-end processing of batch mutual fund subscriptions/redemptions and daily equity/ETF trades.
• Reconciliation & Discrepancy Management: Perform daily cash, position, and trade reconciliations between internal platform logs and external partner reporting to identify, track, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Escalation & Engineering Liaison: Act as the operational bridge between Luxembourg finance/business operations and the Milan-based product and engineering teams, translating systemic operational issues into functional requirements for platform improvements.
• Operational Readiness for New Asset Classes: Lead the operational setup, testing, and launch workflows for upcoming retail investment products, including crypto assets, pension funds, robo-advisory offerings, and more.
The role is hybrid with three days per week in-office (Tuesday, Thursday, plus one day of your choice), with flexibility to request additional remote time. Benefits include private health insurance, psychological support, stock options, meal vouchers, relocation support, professional development programs, language courses, unlimited PTO, enhanced parental leave, and flexible working hours.
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of experience in Fintech or Investment Operations, with solid background in wealthtech, retail brokerage, or investment management operations and hands-on exposure to mutual funds, equities, ETFs, or crypto products.
• Direct experience dealing with third-party custodians, trade execution partners, and transfer agents.
• Experience operating within fast-growing retail platforms, with a focus on building repeatable, automated processes that eliminate manual interventions as trading volumes scale.
• Excitement about building an in-house investment operations function from scratch in Luxembourg as the firm expands its regulatory footprint toward order execution and self-custody.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian is a strong advantage.
The company welcomes applicants who may not tick every box and values diverse perspectives and passion for making a difference.
