Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks an Inventory Analyst to join the Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team in McHenry, Mississippi. The RMS team designs and manufactures solid rocket motors and propulsion systems for next-generation missiles and munitions, operating a vertically integrated energetics operation from propellant chemistry through case fabrication, assembly, and test.
In this role, you will manage and optimize inventory levels to support production schedules while minimizing scrap, excess, and obsolescence costs. You'll oversee inventory health across materials, quality, and production—including energetic and shelf-life-sensitive chemicals unique to rocket motor manufacturing. Key responsibilities include conducting electronic cycle counts and physical audits to maintain near-perfect record accuracy, investigating root causes of inventory variances, and implementing corrective actions in ERP and WMS systems.
You will monitor shelf-life-sensitive materials (ammonium perchlorate, propellant chemicals, controlled consumables) to ensure compliance with AS9100 Quality Management System standards and safety regulations. You'll generate KPI reports and visual dashboards tracking inventory health, aging stock, and transaction records. Collaboration with manufacturing stakeholders will support operational continuity, forecasting, and planning.
Additional duties include reconciling physical counts to the system of record (Odoo/Oracle), analyzing consumption trends against active work orders to surface shortages and long-lead risks, monitoring MRB and quarantine aging, validating inventory project striping, and building self-service dashboards for production, quality, and program teams.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience); 3–5+ years in inventory control within aerospace or high-tech manufacturing; proficiency in Oracle and Odoo, advanced Excel, and potentially SQL; familiarity with AS9100 and DFARS regulations; experience with serialized parts and traceability; Lean or Six Sigma background; comfort with hazardous/energetic materials and shelf-life management; U.S. Person status for export-controlled access.
Preferred: Defense, aerospace, propulsion, or energetics manufacturing experience; dashboard/BI platform building; Oracle project and task charge knowledge; track record improving inventory KPIs.
