Justworks is seeking an International Consultant for the Americas to serve as a strategic subject matter expert and trusted advisor for customers navigating complex global employment and Employer of Record (EOR) practices across Canada, Latin America, and other Americas regions.
In this role, you will be the definitive expert on EOR services and international compliance requirements across the Americas. You'll provide strategic recommendations on cross-border employment nuances, terminations, local labor standards, and regulatory compliance to mitigate global risk. You'll act as the primary advisor for high-value accounts with sophisticated, jurisdiction-specific needs that go beyond standard platform support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for EOR services across the Americas, maintaining deep knowledge of varying regulatory environments
- Provide strategic recommendations on complex international compliance, cross-border employment, and local labor standards
- Partner with Legal, Product, and Operations teams to interpret global industry trends and influence international product-market fit
- Manage high-value customer accounts through Customer Success partnerships, addressing advanced jurisdictional expertise needs
- Act as the final escalation point for complex compliance and high-liability HR inquiries
- Identify EOR expansion and upsell opportunities, guiding customers through strategic complexities of entering new markets
- Drive retention and growth through education-based customer engagement
- Translate complex international regulations into clear, actionable guidance for customers and internal partners
- Operate independently while contributing to team knowledge and scaling best practices
