As an Intermediate Developer, you'll contribute to all software development activities within an Agile team. Your primary focus (70% of time) will be on software development: collaborating with technical and non-technical team members across database, back-end, and front-end stacks; ensuring deliverables align with technical architecture and quality standards; building and executing integrated unit tests; writing clean, intent-revealing code; ensuring observability and monitoring in production; producing technical documentation; addressing urgent bugs; and collaborating with senior developers on significant features.
The remaining 30% involves teamwork and collaboration: participating in peer reviews, mentoring junior developers, gathering production metrics and stakeholder feedback to iterate on projects, and working with product managers to clarify requirements.
You'll need strong proficiency in Python, a solid understanding of relational databases, demonstrated experience delivering high-quality software end-to-end, and basic REST API knowledge. Bonus qualifications include Django/Django REST Framework expertise, SaaS delivery experience in Agile environments, RESTful API design and maintenance skills, AWS deployment experience, and familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
