Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries including food, mining, and transport. The company integrates hardware, software, AI, and operations to deploy intelligent systems into real environments at scale.
As an Integrations Engineer, you'll be part of the Global Integrations Team, responsible for connecting Atoms' core food infrastructure platform with external systems used by restaurant partners. You'll design and implement robust, scalable APIs that reliably exchange critical data (orders, menus, status updates) between the platform and systems like Point-of-Sale (POS) and ERPs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, deploying, and maintaining secure API integrations with a focus on data reliability and performance
- Backend development using modern practices in Java, Go, Kotlin, C++, or C#
- Ensuring data integrity and high performance when querying, synchronizing, and modeling restaurant data across complex systems
- Partnering with Product Managers and external stakeholders globally to define integration specifications and ensure business value
- Owning technical projects from architectural design through testing and full deployment
You'll need a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend or Integration Software Engineer, ideally in fast-moving tech environments. Strong proficiency in at least one core backend language is required, along with a Computer Science or related academic background. The role demands a proactive problem-solving mindset, demonstrated impact on technical architecture and business outcomes, and good English proficiency for global collaboration.
The role is based in Atoms' Vila Olímpia office in São Paulo with a five-day-per-week onsite requirement.
