Syndio is a pay governance and compensation intelligence platform helping organizations make smarter compensation decisions. We're seeking an Integrations Developer to build, maintain, and manage our integration platforms, ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure data flows across systems.
In this role, you'll design and build workflows on modern integration platforms (Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Tray.io, etc.) to automate data flows, with a focus on HRIS and ATS integrations. You'll manage connectors and APIs—configuring existing ones and building custom solutions—to ensure secure system connectivity. You'll monitor integration performance, troubleshoot errors, maintain documentation, and optimize workflows for continuous improvement.
You'll collaborate across engineering and customer success teams to guarantee reliable integrations, smooth deployments, and minimal downtime. A key part of your work involves establishing integration platform governance and best practices, including documentation, monitoring, and error-handling standards. You'll also enable Implementation Managers with repeatable onboarding workflows to reduce time-to-value for new customers, and create a comprehensive knowledge base with playbooks to help teams self-serve and scale integrations.
You bring 2+ years of proven experience building and maintaining data integrations using modern iPaaS tools. You have strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and authentication protocols (REST, SOAP, OAuth). You're comfortable with Python and SQL, experienced in data orchestration (scheduling, sequencing, monitoring workflows), and familiar with HRIS, ATS, CRM, or ERP systems. You have solid documentation habits, excellent collaboration skills, and background in data security and compliance. You're comfortable with cloud infrastructure and databases (GCP, AWS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, Snowflake), and can design scalable integration architectures. You must be based in Calgary and legally authorized to work in Alberta.
