Ivalua, a leading global provider of cloud-based procurement and spend management solutions founded in 2000, is seeking a highly technical Integration Principal to lead the most complex integration designs and builds across their implementation portfolio.
You will serve as the go-to integration expert across projects, owning design, build, troubleshooting, and optimization for mission-critical data flows between Ivalua's cloud platform and enterprise systems (ERPs, HR, finance, logistics, third-party systems). This is a senior individual contributor role with significant autonomy and impact, where you will mentor other team members without direct line management.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Design & Implementation: Lead detailed design of complex integrations ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability. Configure and develop integrations using Ivalua tools, APIs, ETL/EAI/middleware, file-based interfaces, and scripting. Define and refine integration standards, reusable patterns, and best practices for the broader team. Analyze and optimize integration performance, design robust error handling and recovery strategies. Act as the top-level technical escalation point for integration incidents during build, testing, UAT, go-live, and hypercare phases.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, Data Engineers, and Project Managers. Lead technical workshops with customers' IT and integration teams on strategically significant engagements. Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering teams on integration capabilities and gaps. Contribute technical input on complex proposals for pre-sales support.
Delivery Excellence: Produce high-quality technical design documents (integration specifications, mapping documents, sequence diagrams). Define unit, integration, and regression testing standards and perform peer reviews. Identify systemic integration risks and drive mitigation plans. Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.
Partner & Internal Enablement: Mentor Senior Integration Leads and junior consultants. Provide technical guidance to partners' integration consultants. Contribute to internal knowledge base articles, how-to guides, and reference implementations.
The Professional Services team's mission is to successfully deliver Ivalua's configurable solution to customers with high quality standards and strong commitment to excellence. The Data Intelligence division focuses on system integrations, advanced Power BI reporting, and end-to-end spend management data solutions.
Workplace: Hybrid (3 days in office per week in Pune). Travel required approximately 10–20% depending on project needs.
