Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced autonomous systems and AI. This Integration and Test Engineer role focuses on autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) development, working within multidisciplinary teams across the full product lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and integrating AUV subsystems (electrical, software, mechanical components)
- Building and operating physical integration test environments
- Developing software for test automation, including frameworks and data analysis tools
- Debugging electrical and software integration issues
- Writing, reviewing, and executing comprehensive test plans for internal and customer-facing evaluations
- Providing subject matter expertise for test operations, pre-mission testing, vehicle tasking, and data analysis
- Supporting field operations, repair, and maintenance of AUV platforms (up to 20% travel)
Required qualifications:
- 4+ years experience in software, mechatronic, electrical, or systems engineering with integration/test focus
- Proficiency in software development for test automation and data analysis
- Strong Linux, command-line, and network debugging skills
- Hands-on electronics troubleshooting with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
- Familiarity with embedded systems, sensor integration, and robotics control
- Understanding of mechanical engineering and control theory concepts
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain NV2 Security Clearance
Advantages include subsea operational experience, AUV launch/recovery systems knowledge, and vehicle-level testing background. The role involves field work supporting nearshore and offshore testing operations.
