Jerry is an AI-powered platform helping customers manage their most important physical assets—cars, homes, motorcycles, and more. The company has grown to 5M+ customers, raised $240M+, and achieved profitability in 2024. You'll join the Customer Operations team in a dual-track role that combines sales and service responsibilities.
This is a fully remote, fast-paced position where you'll work directly with customers to help them navigate insurance, repairs, financing, and maintenance. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Answering inbound calls from customers shopping for auto, home, motorcycle, and other policies, as well as from existing policyholders needing changes or support
- Providing consultative service that goes beyond answering the immediate question—identifying coverage gaps, uncovering discounts, and flagging upcoming renewals
- Developing deep product knowledge across Jerry's app and a large panel of insurance partners to match customers with the right coverage
- Processing service requests (vehicle changes, driver updates, lienholders, policy documents)
- Problem-solving to remove barriers between customers and appropriate coverage
- Feeding product feedback directly to the team; the feedback loop is short enough that you'll see your suggestions ship
The role offers flexibility: choose between a traditional 5-day, 8-hour week or a 4-day, 10-hour week. During the interview process, you and the team will determine whether you're better suited for the sales or service track—no prior decision required.
Jerry is backed by Y Combinator and led by serial entrepreneurs and talent from Nvidia, Meta, Amazon, BCG, McKinsey, Bain, and GEICO. The company is known for its culture and consistently ranks among Y Combinator's Top Companies and Forbes/Statista's Best Startup Employers.
