The company has helped hundreds of thousands of small business customers across the United States obtain fast, customized, and affordable coverage. They are backed by industry leaders in insurance and tech. You will operate as a business owner for the Commercial Property and Inland Marine insurance products, responsible for identifying growth opportunities, improving profitability, shaping product strategy, and turning ideas into market-ready solutions. This is a hands-on role where you'll stay close to both implementation and business results. Key responsibilities include: - Identifying and prioritizing growth opportunities across customer segments, geographies, coverages, distribution channels, and product capabilities - Leading initiatives from business case and product development through regulatory filing, design, implementation, launch, and performance monitoring - Making product changes directly where possible and partnering with Engineering and Design on larger initiatives - Driving profitable growth by diagnosing portfolio performance and translating insights into pricing, segmentation, underwriting, coverage, and form changes - Shaping product strategy and roadmap using customer needs, competitive intelligence, claims insights, and portfolio economics - Serving as a trusted product expert and cross-functional owner, partnering with Actuarial, Engineering, Data Science, Legal & Compliance, AI Underwriting, Claims, Operations, and leadership Required qualifications include 5+ years of P&C insurance experience with demonstrated ownership of insurance products, portfolios, or major initiatives. You must understand how pricing, underwriting, segmentation, coverage, forms, and regulatory filings work together to drive product performance. You should be a builder comfortable with implementation details, business-minded with data-driven decision-making, analytical and highly organized, and able to lead multiple complex initiatives across insurance, technical, and business teams. Preferred experience includes Commercial Property, Inland Marine, or Businessowners Policy (BOP); relevant property-focused personal lines experience; experience with rate, rule, or form filings; direct partnership with Actuaries, Engineering, Design, or technical product teams; and small commercial, insurtech, or digital insurance background. A BA/BS degree is required; advanced degrees and insurance designations are a plus.
