Finance Active, part of Altus Group, is a leading provider of debt management and financial risk management SaaS solutions for the public sector. The company helps municipalities, public institutions, and government agencies make critical financial decisions around debt management, treasury operations, budget forecasting, and subsidy management.
As a Support Engineer for the Public Sector division, you will be the bridge between clients and the R&D/Product teams. You will provide technical and functional support to clients using Finance Active's applications, handling the full support lifecycle from Level 1 to Level 2 issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify, analyze, and resolve technical and functional incidents affecting public sector applications
- Respond professionally and promptly to client requests via email and phone
- Act as the liaison between client consultants and R&D/Product teams, escalating needs and qualifying anomalies
- Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the resolution lifecycle
- Document technical and functional solutions, maintain knowledge bases, and build institutional knowledge
- Track all interactions and resolutions in ticketing systems
- Identify and escalate issues requiring higher-level intervention
- Rapidly develop expertise in application updates, new features, and public sector business requirements
- Collaborate with client consultants, R&D, Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams
You will report to the R&D Manager for the Public Sector and be embedded within the R&D and Product team, giving you direct visibility into product development and the ability to influence roadmap decisions based on customer feedback.
