Blockchain.com is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer to design, build, and implement security controls across product, platform, and infrastructure environments. You will work on proactive threat identification, security gap analysis, and drive engineering initiatives to close vulnerabilities. Key responsibilities include collaborating with SRE and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native architectures, building automated tooling for secure configurations and compliance detection, conducting threat modeling and design reviews, and participating in security incident response. You'll also research and architect AI/LLM utilities for secure infrastructure.
Required qualifications: 4+ years in security engineering, platform security, or DevSecOps; hands-on cloud security experience (GCP/AWS preferred); proficiency in Python, Bash, Go, Terraform, or similar; strong collaboration and problem-solving skills with a bias toward automation. Familiarity with Cloudflare, SIEM tools (Splunk, Elastic), incident management platforms, CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Concourse, CircleCI), and HIDS systems (Wazuh preferred) is expected.
Nice-to-have skills include knowledge of security standards (CIS Benchmarks, NIST, SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS), SIEM design and maintenance, securing consumer-facing web and mobile applications, Vault and HashiCorp products, and security vendor management.
The role is based in the Paris office with mandatory in-office presence four days per week. Work-from-anywhere flexibility available up to 20 days annually.
