Join H's Infrastructure team as a Platform Infrastructure Engineer, reporting to the VP of Engineering. You'll own critical pieces of the company's migration from AWS to an environment-agnostic platform, working on the foundational infrastructure that powers all H products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run and scale Kubernetes clusters and networking infrastructure
- Design and build authentication and authorization systems
- Refactor the stack to be environment-agnostic and cloud-provider independent
- Accelerate deployment pipelines for Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) serving external customers
- Develop Kubernetes-native services including controllers and operators
- Write and maintain infrastructure as code across the platform
Your users are H's product and platform engineers, as well as external customers through the FDE program. The team moves fast and tackles novel problems—each model release and new customer deployment changes infrastructure requirements.
The role is hybrid with three days per week in the Paris or London office.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python or Go for solving real infrastructure problems
- Demonstrated experience building and operating Kubernetes-based platforms at significant scale (with specific metrics on clusters, services, and users)
- Experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) or strong foundational systems engineering knowledge (Linux, eBPF)
- Track record building and owning infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with complex network topologies (multi-cluster, dual-stack) and CNIs such as Cilium or Calico
- Background handling petabyte-scale data or high-frequency, latency-sensitive workloads
- Experience with agentic systems, particularly in security contexts
- Familiarity with GPU infrastructure and tools such as Dynamo, vLLM, or SGLang
