Join H's Infrastructure team to own the platform foundation powering all products. You'll work on clusters, networking, and security systems that enable the company to deliver value to customers at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run and scale Kubernetes clusters and networking infrastructure
- Design and build authentication and authorization systems
- Refactor the stack to be environment-agnostic, moving away from AWS-only architecture
- Accelerate deployment pipelines for Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) working with external customers
- Develop Kubernetes-native services including controllers and operators
- Write and maintain infrastructure as code
You'll own meaningful pieces of the infrastructure roadmap from your first quarter, working on novel problems that evolve with each model release and new customer onboarding. The team moves fast and values pragmatic solutions to complex systems challenges.
Your users are H's product and platform engineers, plus external customers through the FDE program. You'll report to the VP of Engineering and collaborate closely with the Infrastructure team.
The role is hybrid: three days per week in the Paris or London office, with flexibility for remote work.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python or Go for solving real infrastructure problems
- Demonstrated experience building and operating Kubernetes-based platforms at significant scale (with specific metrics on clusters, services, and user counts)
- Hands-on experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) OR strong foundational systems engineering knowledge (Linux, eBPF)
- Track record building and owning infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with complex network topologies (multi-cluster, dual-stack) and CNIs such as Cilium or Calico
- Background handling petabyte-scale data or high-frequency, latency-sensitive workloads
- Familiarity with agentic systems, particularly in security contexts
- Experience with GPU infrastructure and tools such as Dynamo, vLLM, or SGLang
