Ivo is a contract intelligence platform that uses AI to analyze and extract insights from legal agreements. The company serves enterprise customers like Uber, Meta, Canva, IBM, and Shopify, and recently completed a Series B funding round with 800% YoY growth.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll own the foundation that powers Ivo's entire platform. Each customer receives an isolated environment with dedicated containers, databases, and VPCs. Your role is to ensure reliability, performance, and security across multi-cluster, multi-region deployments while maintaining SLAs that customers depend on.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and operate Kubernetes clusters across AWS, GCP, and Azure with proper failover and disaster recovery strategies
- Build internal tooling for infrastructure provisioning and management to enable consistent dev-to-prod workflows
- Architect workload isolation strategies that balance cost, performance, and reliability for diverse traffic patterns (ML vs. API)
- Implement security controls (RBAC, workload identity, secrets management, audit trails) that satisfy enterprise compliance without slowing product velocity
- Define and enforce meaningful SLOs that drive reliability without creating alert fatigue
- Own CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and infrastructure-as-code with Pulumi
- Maintain Docker environments across dev, staging, and prod to eliminate environment inconsistencies
- Debug end-to-end across the stack—APIs, workers, jobs, builds—not just infrastructure
- Automate repetitive tasks and optimize build times and deployment processes
- Build observability and monitoring that surface issues before customers report them
- Lead incident response and write postmortems that drive organizational learning
You'll be deeply embedded in the engineering team and encouraged to explore how LLMs can improve infrastructure tooling and operations. This is not a "keep the lights on" role—you're building systems that enable the company's growth and customer success.
