As an Infrastructure Developer, you will design and build the core services, APIs, and automation that power Adyen's internal cloud platform. Your primary focus will be creating a seamless, unified interface that abstracts the complexity of hybrid environments—bridging public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises infrastructure into a single cohesive experience. Key responsibilities include: - Designing and developing core platform services and APIs that enable customers to deploy and manage infrastructure - Engineering solutions that unify public cloud and on-premises environments - Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi to declaratively manage platform resources - Building and maintaining sophisticated CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable platform deployment - Collaborating with engineering teams to translate customer needs into scalable, self-service platform features - Troubleshooting complex issues across the stack and participating in on-call rotations to ensure high availability You must have strong proficiency in Go or Python for building APIs and services, proven experience with distributed systems, and deep knowledge of API design (REST, gRPC). Essential technical skills include hands-on experience with on-premises infrastructure (virtualization, networking, server hardware), Infrastructure as Code tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux/Unix systems. You should have a background in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering, with a security-first mindset. Nice-to-have skills include experience with monitoring/observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry), CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), and deep cloud provider expertise.
