Air Space Intelligence is seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer to design, build, and manage mission-critical secure infrastructure for defense applications. The role focuses on achieving FedRAMP and DoD compliance while orchestrating cloud environments, deploying secure software pipelines, and enforcing security best practices across the organization.
You will work at the intersection of security, automation, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring ASI's systems are resilient and compliant with DoD and federal cloud security requirements. Key responsibilities include implementing FedRAMP and DoD security controls, securing cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure GCCH, Platform One), managing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform/Terragrunt, and overseeing Kubernetes/EKS deployments.
Required qualifications include proven experience implementing FedRAMP or DoD security controls, strong understanding of security frameworks (SOC 2, NIST CSF, FedRAMP), hands-on cloud security experience, and demonstrated coding skills in Python or Rust. You should have experience with Infrastructure as Code, Helm/Kubernetes, security automation tools, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing. Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, least privilege access, OWASP Top 10, and SANS Top 25 is essential.
A current or recent U.S. Security Clearance is required, or eligibility to obtain one.
