Brite Payments is a fintech headquartered in Stockholm that operates across 27 European markets, enabling instant bank payments between consumers and merchants through open banking technology.
As Information Security Manager, you will partner with the Chief Information Security Officer and cyber security team to develop and strengthen Brite's information security management system (ISMS) and ICT risk framework. This is a governance-focused role with significant organizational impact, responsible for third-party risk management, security initiative coordination, security awareness programs, and compliance activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive vendor due diligence procedures within the third-party risk management framework
- Develop, strengthen, and drive information security governance across the organization
- Coordinate information security initiatives aligned with the ISMS
- Lead security awareness, communication, and training programs
- Provide information classification and criticality analysis guidance
- Advise on multiple security domains including staff, travel, and physical security
- Support governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities
- Handle security-related client requests and questions
- Ensure information security policies and procedures are documented, communicated, and regularly updated
- Continuously evaluate and improve security governance capabilities
Brite operates in a regulated financial services environment and is seeking a proactive, forward-thinking leader with strong communication and people skills. The role requires someone who can drive change, solve complex problems, and operate effectively in a flat, fast-moving organization.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar information security governance or management role
- Knowledge and experience with information security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Proven experience implementing and working with DORA Regulation (EU 2022:2554)
- Relevant educational background in IT or information security
- Fluency in English (corporate language)
- Background in the EU financial sector strongly preferred
