Neko Health is a preventative healthcare company using proprietary technology and clinical care to deliver personalized health insights in a single, non-invasive visit. The Information Security Engineer will be a key member of the Security team, responsible for embedding security throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth security reviews and assessments across product design, launch, and post-launch phases. You will lead and collaborate with software engineers to proactively identify and remediate security flaws and vulnerabilities. The role involves designing secure protocols and systems, writing security tests and fuzzers, and performing threat modeling on complex systems to prioritize investigation areas.
You will assess architectural designs for vulnerabilities using multiple techniques including AI-assisted analysis, manual code review, fuzzing, and static code analysis. You'll develop and review secure operational practices, providing security guidance to engineering and staff teams. Infrastructure hardening and securing cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS) is a core responsibility.
The role leverages AI tools and agents to scale your security capabilities. You'll work to create and maintain a safe environment for Neko's members and developers, embedding security best practices into CI/CD pipelines and improving detection mechanisms.
Minimum qualifications: 5+ years in security assessments, security design reviews, or security engineering. Proficiency in one or more general-purpose languages (C#, Python, C++, JavaScript, Java). Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms.
Preferred: 10+ years security experience, understanding of both offensive and defensive security methods, proficiency in three or more programming languages, and advanced cloud infrastructure security knowledge.
