Fireblocks is a blockchain-based digital asset platform trusted by major financial institutions, banks, and Web3 companies including BNY Mellon, BNP Paribas, ANZ Bank, and Revolut. The company provides the infrastructure for secure digital asset management at scale.
As a Senior Information Security Engineer, you will serve as the technical anchor of Fireblocks' internal security posture, responsible for deploying, managing, and tuning enterprise-grade security stacks including EDR, DLP, IAM, CASB, and MDM solutions. Your focus will be on deep integration, automation, and practical implementation rather than documentation alone.
Key responsibilities include:
• Architectural Ownership: Design and deploy comprehensive security infrastructure with emphasis on automation and integration across the organization.
• AI Security Leadership: Lead implementation and governance of AI-driven workflows, securing LLM usage, and protecting against emerging threats such as data leakage and prompt injection attacks.
• Proactive Defense: Build and maintain high-fidelity detections and guardrails aligned with real-world attack techniques and threat landscapes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, IT, and DevOps teams to ensure security controls are frictionless, automated, and operationally effective.
You will need 4+ years of hands-on experience in InfoSec Engineering or SecOps within high-growth, cloud-native environments. Practical AI security experience is required—you should have demonstrated expertise securing AI adoption and leveraging AI-driven platforms to scale defensive capabilities. Deep technical knowledge of endpoint security (macOS/Linux), SaaS ecosystems, and identity platforms (Okta/OIDC) is essential. Advanced Python scripting skills are mandatory for automation and custom security integrations.
Beyond technical skills, you must excel at translating complex security risks into actionable business intelligence for diverse stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships with R&D and DevOps teams, maintaining composure during high-stakes incidents, and balancing security ideals with the functional requirements of a fast-moving global financial infrastructure.
