Quindar is building an Industrial Security Program to support U.S. Government mission partners, particularly the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. This role is a hands-on position supporting the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in day-to-day security operations, compliance, and process development for classified mission execution.
You will manage the full personnel security clearance lifecycle, including initial submissions, upgrades, and reinvestigations. You'll support classified employee onboarding and offboarding briefings, visitor control, and classified meeting logistics. Key responsibilities include reviewing SF-86 forms for adequacy, processing Visit Access Requests (VARs), and assisting with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) self-inspections and audits.
You will help develop and maintain security policies, Standard Practice Procedures (SPPs), and internal processes while supporting the build-out of security compliance software. Physical security operations—including badging, visitor access, and secure storage—are part of your scope. You'll also support security briefings, training programs, and ad hoc projects as the program scales.
A significant focus is supporting newly established secure facilities and environments, including implementing industrial security requirements from Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) nominations to building and reviewing DD-254 forms (Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency security requirement documents).

REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- U.S. Citizen
- Active Top Secret clearance
- High school diploma or higher
- 2–4 years of DoD/DCSA security experience supporting an FSO or Chief Security and Safety Officer (CSSO)
- Hands-on experience with DISS, NISS, SWFT, and NBIS systems
- Working knowledge of NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117 and DoD 5200 series manuals
- Experience managing full clearance lifecycle (initials, upgrades, reinvestigations)
- Experience with employee security reporting lifecycle
- Experience with document control and secure handling/transmittal of classified materials, including inventory management, secure shipping, and couriering
- Experience with DCSA incident reporting process
- Professional experience working with program managers, customers, government partners, and vendors
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience building or scaling security processes in growing organizations
- Experience completing DCSA self-inspections
- Experience reviewing DD-254s to establish program security requirements
- Must complete CDSE DCSA FSO Possessing Facilities Certification within six months of hire
Preferred:
- CDSE DCSA FSO Possessing Facilities Certification
- Active Top Secret clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph
- Experience supporting DCSA Open Storage accreditations and annual inspections
- Prior involvement in day-to-day SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) operations
- Experience in startup or small company environments during rapid growth or major contract wins
- Experience with SCI nominations and associated reporting
- Experience building subcontractor DD-254s and flowing to customer
- Experience implementing or scaling security software systems
- Experience transitioning security requirements to new facilities
