C8 Health is an AI-powered platform helping healthcare organizations implement best practices to drive care consistency, improve patient outcomes, and reduce costs. The company partners with leading health systems including Mount Sinai, Brigham & Women's Hospital, and Dartmouth Health.
As an Implementation Specialist, you will oversee technical and operational onboarding for new clients while managing upgrades and expansions for existing accounts. You will own a portfolio of active projects, ensuring timely go-lives, configuring technical integrations, navigating complex hospital organizations, mitigating risks, and building scalable onboarding processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct technical discovery and operational scoping conversations to drive high-quality outcomes for each implementation phase
- Manage platform configuration for each client on schedule with excellent customer experience
- Own technical coordination for SSO, SFTP, and other integration workflows; serve as escalation point for configuration challenges
- Drive stakeholder accountability across clients and internal teams, securing deliverables and maintaining trust-based relationships
- Collaborate with dedicated Customer Success Managers to ensure client expectations are aligned and risks are surfaced early
- Build and continuously improve the implementation process by establishing phase-gate structures, documenting repeatable steps, and identifying automation opportunities
- Travel domestically 1-2 days per month, approximately 1-2 times monthly
You will report directly to the Senior Director of Implementation and work closely with a growing Implementation team in a fast-paced, venture-backed startup environment.
Requirements:
- 4+ years in implementation or technical onboarding roles
- 4+ years working with clinicians or administrators in hospital-based healthcare; demonstrated understanding of how health systems operate and ability to navigate IT and clinical stakeholder environments
- Strong project management skills and experience with tools such as Jira and Google Workspace
- Thorough understanding of SSO/SAML configuration, SFTP-based data workflows, and API integration concepts (as an owner/coordinator, not necessarily as a builder)
- Ability to read technical documentation, ask clarifying questions, and drive resolution
- Resilience and ability to handle ambiguity with a can-do attitude
- Fluency with AI tools to improve day-to-day efficiency
- Structured, self-directed approach to managing customer-facing projects with multiple concurrent workstreams
- Technically curious mindset with ability to bridge client IT teams and engineering teams
- Process-oriented with instinct for documentation, standardization, and automation
- Strong organizational awareness and clear communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups (clinical, IT, internal teams)
