XO Health is a technology-driven health plan built for self-insured employers. The Implementation Lead owns the end-to-end onboarding of new employer groups and TPA partners, from signed agreement through effective date and stable first 60 days. You are the single point of accountability for clean, on-time go-lives: ensuring plans are built correctly, eligibility flows properly, ID cards and welcome kits are delivered, member apps are configured, and clients understand status at every step. This is a hands-on, build-the-playbook role. You will run implementations yourself while standardizing XO's processes so each one is faster and cleaner than the last. You will work across Commercial, Plan Operations, Claims, Network, IT, and Compliance, serving as the trusted point of contact for clients, brokers, and TPAs. Key responsibilities include: **Client and TPA Onboarding:** Lead the full implementation lifecycle from kickoff through post-go-live stabilization. Build and maintain implementation plans covering benefit design, group structure, eligibility and enrollment setup, stop-loss coordination, vendor integrations, member communications, and compliance. Own accurate setup across XO's systems and partner platforms, including benefit configuration, eligibility file testing, ID card production, member app configuration, and SSO/portal integrations. Translate client-specific requirements into clear instructions for internal teams and confirm execution before go-live. **Project Management:** Run the cross-functional implementation team, ensure critical milestones are completed, surface risks early, and resolve blockers. Coordinate with Claims, Plan Operations, Network, IT, Compliance, and Finance to ensure ownership is assigned and dates are met. Maintain regular reporting cadence with leadership and flag anything that puts a go-live at risk. **Client Communication:** Serve as primary contact for client, broker, and TPA throughout implementation. Lead recurring status meetings and maintain clear records of open items and decisions. Prepare client-facing documentation, checklists, and readiness sign-offs. Hand off cleanly to the ongoing account owner with full documentation and open items. **Playbook and Continuous Improvement:** Own XO's implementation playbook including standard timelines, checklists, templates, and data requirements. Identify manual steps and failure points and work with Operations and Product to automate or remove them. Turn lessons from each implementation into playbook improvements that strengthen the process and enable scale. **Requirements:** Required: 5+ years in implementation, client onboarding, or project management within self-funded health benefits, TPA operations, or a health plan. Working knowledge of self-funded medical and pharmacy plan design and compliance landscape (ERISA, ACA, CAA, Mental Health Parity). Direct experience running complex, multi-party healthcare implementations on a fixed effective date. Fluency in the employer and TPA distribution channel, including brokers, consultants, benefits administrators, and stop-loss carriers. Comfort with eligibility files, enrollment data, and system configuration—you do not need to be technical but must be precise and detail-oriented. Clear, concise communicator who can confidently lead client discussions and provide leadership with direct, well-informed answers. Strong organizational skills and judgment to prioritize when everything feels urgent. Preferred: Experience implementing on behalf of or alongside a TPA. Experience at an early-stage or high-growth company where you built the process rather than inherited it. Familiarity with health plan technology platforms, member apps, or provider directory tools. PMP or similar project management credentials.
