Triomics is an AI-powered software platform accelerating oncology clinical trials and cancer care, backed by top-tier VCs including Y Combinator, Lightspeed, and General Catalyst. The company works directly with cancer centers and health systems to deploy its platform into live clinical workflows.
As an Implementation Engineer, you will own the technical side of customer onboarding and deployment. Your core responsibilities include configuring the Triomics platform, integrating it with hospital systems (EHRs like Epic and Cerner, data warehouses, and other clinical/IT infrastructure), and ensuring smooth go-live for each new customer. You'll be the primary technical point of contact during rollout, partnering with hospital IT and informatics teams to translate their systems and constraints into working integrations.
Key responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end technical implementation for new customers: environment setup, configuration, data mapping, and system integration
- Build and troubleshoot integrations with hospital systems using healthcare standards (HL7v2, FHIR, C-CDA) and APIs (REST/SOAP)
- Work directly with hospital IT, informatics, and clinical operations teams to gather requirements and troubleshoot issues
- Debug data and connectivity issues across the full stack and drive root-cause fixes
- Write implementation documentation, runbooks, and reusable playbooks to accelerate future deployments
- Partner with Product and Engineering to identify recurring integration gaps and feed them into the roadmap
- Support customers during post-go-live stabilization and hand off to Customer Success
- Manage multiple concurrent implementations while keeping timelines and technical risks visible
Required qualifications:
- 1+ years of implementation, integration, or solutions engineering experience for SaaS/enterprise software
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Working knowledge of APIs (REST/SOAP), data formats (JSON/XML), and basic scripting (Python/JavaScript)
- Strong ownership mentality and troubleshooting instincts
- Clear written and verbal communication
Preferred experience includes EHR/EMR implementation (Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, Meditech), healthcare data standards, hospital IT/informatics team collaboration, or prior health-tech roles.
