Campfire is an AI-native ERP platform for high-growth mid-market companies, automating core accounting workflows including transaction categorization, bank reconciliation, revenue recognition, and reporting.
As the first Product Enablement & Operations Manager, you will build Campfire's implementation and onboarding infrastructure from the ground up. This is a strategic role combining training design, process architecture, and cross-functional leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
**Onboarding & Knowledge Architecture**
- Design and own the end-to-end Implementation Onboarding Guide, creating a structured curriculum that takes new hires from Day 1 to their first successful customer launch
- Serve as the "Brain" for the Implementation team, maintaining real-time updates to training materials, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides as the product evolves
- Observe calls and escalations for new joiners during their first three months, providing feedback to cement customer-facing standards and identify onboarding gaps
- Translate internal onboarding success into external Partner Bootcamps, ensuring partners are certified to deliver the Campfire standard
**Strategic & Operational Improvements**
- Act as the primary liaison between Implementation and Product, translating early-stage features into "Implementation Readiness" kits (guides, scripts, configuration steps)
- Conduct ride-alongs and interviews with the current team to identify technical and process bottlenecks, then collaborate with Product and Support to solve via product improvements or process redesigns
- Work with Support to identify "implementation debt" (post-launch issues) and address them during onboarding or implementation phases
**Core Deliverables**
- Build the Implementation Academy: create training modules, videos, and certification paths for new Implementation Managers
- Facilitate live training sessions, workshops, and partner bootcamps
- Define "certified" standards, create rubrics and milestones to ensure new hires meet technical and strategic bars
- Identify manual or broken processes and work cross-functionally to automate or redesign them
**Requirements**
- Architect mindset: ability to take a blank page and build structured, repeatable processes
- Product fluency: capacity to dive deep into the Campfire product and explain technical configurations and their rationale to others
- Empathy for customer experience: understanding of high-stakes implementation stress and ability to build materials solving real-world problems
- Previous implementation experience (ideally with Campfire), with proven track record creating training content or documentation
