As an Implementation Consultant (Payroll & HR), you will be the primary customer contact for end-to-end platform implementations, managing both HR and Payroll modules. You will guide clients through requirements gathering, system configuration, training, and go-live, ensuring compliance with local legislation (Fair Work, National Employment Standards in Australia and New Zealand, payroll tax, leave entitlements, superannuation).
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end implementation of HR and Payroll platforms for multiple clients simultaneously
- Serving as the main point of contact, delivering comprehensive training and best-practice guidance
- Gathering client requirements and configuring systems to meet specific needs while ensuring legislative compliance
- Collaborating with subject matter experts, project coordinators, and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Performing root cause analysis and providing recommendations to optimize platform functionality
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships focused on high satisfaction and engagement
- Educating clients on relevant HR and payroll legislation (Australian and New Zealand labour laws)
- Continuously reviewing and enhancing implementation processes for efficiency and client outcomes
You will need strong communication and stakeholder influence skills, the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple client portfolios, and a commitment to delivering great customer outcomes. Experience delivering customer training and technical support is highly valued.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of Australian Payroll legislation and Australian payroll processing (essential)
- 2+ years of combined experience in HR or Payroll implementations (highly desirable but not essential)
- Exposure to other HR or payroll software and system configurations
- Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously and meet critical deadlines
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence and educate clients
- Experience delivering customer training and providing technical support (highly regarded)
- Strong time management and organisational skills to handle competing priorities
