Distro is seeking an Implementation Consultant, HCM to lead seamless client onboarding and implementation of payroll and HR solutions. This role is central to client success, managing the full implementation lifecycle from kick-off through go-live.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand payroll and HR requirements and gather configuration data
- Manage end-to-end implementation scope, setting realistic expectations and tracking milestones
- Partner with internal teams (Sales, Payroll, Product) to align on client business needs
- Lead client meetings to communicate timelines, deliverables, and project status
- Provide comprehensive training on the HRIS system to ensure smooth adoption
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and process issues during implementation
- Maintain CRM documentation throughout the implementation phase
- Transition clients to the service team post-go-live
- Build and maintain strong relationships across internal and client teams
- Stay current on best practices through ongoing training and webinars
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of experience, skills, education, certifications, or job training programs (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience required
- Experience with iSolved required
- HR/Payroll outsourcing industry knowledge required
- Proficiency in payroll and HR software with ability to quickly learn new systems
- Strong understanding of payroll and HR processes, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proven track record managing multiple implementation projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to analyze complex situations
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize workloads
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle escalated situations professionally
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications beneficial (FPC, CPP, PHR, SHRM-CP, PMP, etc.)
