Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, a platform enabling organizations in physical operations (agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, manufacturing) to harness IoT data for actionable insights and operational improvement.
As an Implementation Consultant, you will own the customer relationship and be responsible for successful deployment of Samsara's solution post-signature. You will understand the value customers are trying to achieve and work with them to define and deliver a project plan to achieve this.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the Samsara advisor, managing the deployment of Samsara technology to customers and enabling them to achieve quick time to value
- Lead solution workshops to develop L1 processes for business processes
- Guide customers through change management processes including policy, communications, and training
- Run training sessions, demonstrate Samsara's technology, and work through obstacles with executives and day-to-day users across numerous use cases
- Juggle multiple customer engagements in parallel and work cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer experiences
The role is cross-functional in nature, working alongside Sales, Support, Sales Engineering, and Product. You will experience multiple aspects of a hyper-growth company from within. Travel to customer sites is required for up to 30% of the time, which may include overnight stays.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in an implementation consultant, project manager, or onboarding role (Enterprise SaaS and hardware experience preferred)
- 2+ years of experience supporting or working with technical products
- Strong project management skills with ability to follow methodologies
- Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Excellent consultative skills with experience in end-to-end system implementations
- Experience managing 20+ implementations/projects at a time
- Proven track record of building trust and communicating effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders: executives, Product and Engineering senior management, day-to-day users of software
- Passion for going above and beyond the call of duty, taking initiative, and thriving in a fast-paced, change-heavy environment
- Fluency in English and German (spoken and written) is mandatory
Ideal candidate also has:
- Strong bias for action, ability to think big, with insistence on high standards
- Change management delivery experience
- Experience using AI or automation in CS workflows to drive measurable productivity improvements
