SonarSource is seeking a customer-centric Identity Product Manager to lead authentication, authorization, and access management capabilities across their platform. The role sits at the intersection of customer experience, security, and compliance, serving both individual developers and large regulated enterprises.
You will work within the Identity squad in the Storefront domain, which provides the operational foundation for seamless customer access to Sonar's products, underpinning core business processes like billing and entitlement. SonarSource is the leader in AI code verification and governance, trusted by over 75% of the Fortune 100, including Nvidia, ServiceNow, Booking.com, Goldman Sachs, AstraZeneca, and Ford Motor Company.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the Identity vision and communicating it internally and externally
- Researching, clarifying, and prioritizing opportunities to build and maintain an effective roadmap focused on enterprise-grade authentication, authorization, and access management
- Interacting directly with users and customers to gather feedback and identify opportunities
- Developing deep understanding of enterprise identity needs (SSO/SAML/OIDC, IdP integrations like Okta and Entra ID, SCIM/user provisioning, fine-grained permissions) and enabling organizations to onboard and administer users at scale
- Driving modernization of enterprise identity and access management, including expanding IdP support and hardening permissions and role management
- Working closely with other product managers to design cross-product features
- Aligning with engineering and UX teams on problems to solve and supporting end-to-end development
- Syncing with engineering teams to balance innovation, consolidation, and stability
- Attending conferences and giving talks
- Helping the Product Management team grow in organization, tools, and processes

Requirements:
- Deep passion for identity and access management and seamless, secure authentication systems
- Deep understanding of identity protocols and patterns (SAML, OIDC/OAuth2, SSO, SCIM/provisioning, JWT) and enterprise identity providers (Okta, Entra ID/Azure AD, or similar)
- Technical comprehension of permissions and access control models (RBAC/ABAC) and multi-tenant SaaS access control
- Understanding of compliance and security expectations of enterprise buyers (e.g., SOC 2) as they relate to identity and access
- Experience with latest developments in AI-assisted coding
- Experience in software product management, preferably managing identity in an agile context
- Highly autonomous and pragmatic with obsession for solving external customer problems
- Open-minded with positive can-do attitude
- Comfortable dealing with change, complexity, and uncertainty
- Self-confident enough to challenge status quo and receive feedback
- Leadership: ability to take initiative and lead a subject from beginning to end
In-office culture: Three anchor days (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays) create collaboration rhythm. Candidates must be genuinely based in Geneva; relocation support available for the right person.
