As an Identity & Access Management Engineer, you'll own the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of Culture Amp's identity and access environment, with a focus on Okta, application integrations, lifecycle automation, and identity governance.
You'll manage identity and access administration in Okta, including provisioning, deprovisioning, MFA resets, and authentication policies. You'll handle full lifecycle management of SaaS applications, maintaining SAML, SCIM, and OIDC configurations as the technology environment evolves. A key responsibility is building and owning joiner, mover, and leaver workflows end-to-end, using Okta Workflows, APIs, and SCIM to connect the HRIS to Okta.
You'll configure and continuously improve Okta Identity Governance, including access request workflows and approval paths aligned to access policy. You'll support audit and compliance activities by automating access certification reporting, gathering evidence for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits, and reviewing inactive SaaS licenses and unapproved OAuth integrations. You'll also contribute to configuration and troubleshooting for ancillary platforms such as Google Workspace, Active Directory/MS Entra, Island, and Jamf.
Required experience includes hands-on Okta or similar identity provider administration (SAML, SCIM, OIDC, MFA, lifecycle policies). You need proven experience onboarding SaaS applications end-to-end, including SSO setup and SCIM attribute mapping. Experience with Okta Identity Governance or equivalent access request tooling is essential. You should have built identity lifecycle automation pipelines connecting HRIS systems to identity providers using Okta Workflows, APIs, or SCIM. Familiarity with SaaS governance practices, cloud platforms, networking fundamentals, and device management is required.
You're security-minded, comfortable owning operational systems and improving processes, a clear communicator who works pragmatically with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a systems thinker who understands the end-to-end picture. Culture Amp expects most roles to work from the local office an average of 2 days per week.
