Salary: USD 60,000 - 85,000 / annual

Agile Space Industries, a rapidly growing supplier of propulsion hardware and engineering services for the space industry, is seeking an HR Generalist I/II to support its expanding operations. Headquartered in Durango, Colorado with offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma and upcoming growth in Seattle, Washington, Agile has achieved over 40% year-over-year growth for the past three years. In this role, you will be an integral contributor during the company's growth stage, directly supporting the employee lifecycle and HR operations across multidisciplinary teams. You will coordinate onboarding logistics to ensure smooth and compliant new hire experiences, including organizing orientation sessions, managing I-9 verification and E-Verify compliance, initiating background checks, and ensuring completion of policy acknowledgments and required documentation. You will partner with team leads to facilitate successful integration of new employees. You will maintain accurate HRIS records and ensure ongoing data integrity, process employee status changes including internal transfers, promotions, and job changes, support HRIS reporting needs and provide data insights, and track probationary review timelines and performance review cycle logistics. You will maintain personnel files and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy, support new hire compliance requirements and documentation management, assist with internal audits and continuous process improvement initiatives, and coordinate offboarding processes including system updates and final documentation. You will conduct and document exit interviews, track trends and provide reporting insights, and ensure timely processing of employment separation paperwork. Additionally, you will support LMS management and annual evaluation coordination, participate in team-building and engagement initiatives, and assist with HR digital transformation and process enhancement initiatives. As an integral contributor during the growth stage, you will be eligible to participate in the company's stock option plan, giving you the opportunity to share in the long-term value you help create. REQUIREMENTS: - Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to process improvement initiatives - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (recent graduates with passion for HR welcome) - SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred - Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing routine administrative tasks - Occasional light lifting (up to 15 lbs) may be required for moving files or equipment
