Employment Hero is a $2 billion HR and employment operating system serving over 300,000 businesses globally. As an HR Advisor, you'll provide expert HR guidance to UK-based customers, helping them navigate employment law and compliance challenges.
You'll work with the HR Manager to deliver practical, compliant HR advice across multiple industries. Your responsibilities include:
- Delivering clear, accurate HR and workplace advice to customers via calls, Zendesk, and email, escalating complex cases to the HR Manager or legal team as needed
- Drafting, reviewing, and maintaining HR templates, letters, and policies aligned with current UK employment law
- Conducting detailed HR compliance reviews of customer policies to ensure legal and business alignment
- Scheduling regular customer check-ins and collecting feedback to identify trends and improve advisory services
- Supporting the Sales team on prospect calls to demonstrate the value of HR Advisory services
- Creating engaging HR content for customer communications, Help Centre guides, blogs, and social media
- Staying current with UK employment law changes and best practices
You'll operate in a remote-first environment with asynchronous communication and high autonomy. The role requires availability for customer calls between 9 AM and 5 PM UK time, with flexibility to work across different time zones.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Level 5 CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience
- Proven track record interpreting employment legislation and developing practical, compliant HR policies for micro businesses to SMEs across multiple industries (including not-for-profits)
- Experience supporting or leading processes relating to trade unions, M&A, TUPE transfers, settlement agreements, and conciliations
- Excellent communication, quick-thinking, and time management skills to influence leadership and non-HR professionals on complex employment matters
- Passion for learning and staying updated with employment legislation
- Flexibility to work across different time zones in a remote setting
DESIRABLE:

- Experience advising Scottish businesses
- Knowledge of Zendesk, Google Workspace, and Employment Hero
