Rescale is seeking an experienced HPC Engineer to join its team and help pioneer the future of engineering and scientific discovery. The company is the leader in digital engineering, transforming product development through intelligent automation, applied AI, data management, and integration of the world's largest network of engineering and R&D applications.
In this role, you will become an expert in the Rescale platform and its application to customer workflows, solving complex HPC and AI problems for customers across industries including aerospace, energy, life sciences, and manufacturing. You will integrate cutting-edge AI technologies into CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) workflows and collaborate with a dynamic development team to enhance AI software products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Mastering the Rescale platform and its customer applications
- Solving complex HPC AI problems for enterprise customers
- Integrating advanced AI technologies into CAE workflows
- Engaging directly with customers to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Contributing to development and enhancement of AI software products
- Staying current with latest HPC and AI advancements
- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive peer feedback
- Working independently while managing multiple tasks effectively
Required qualifications include an advanced degree (preferably PhD) in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; 3+ years of industry experience; strong problem-solving skills; and software development expertise. You should have deep expertise in HPC and applying AI to CAE workflows, with proficiency in PyTorch, Modulus, PyG, CAE/CFD/FEA, REST API development, CUDA, Kubernetes, and related technologies. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, combined with passion for continuous learning, are essential.
