Lindblad Expeditions, a pioneer in expedition travel since 1966, is seeking a Hotel Facilities Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of hotel-related capital, maintenance, refurbishment, and shipyard projects across their fleet of 20 ships. In this role, you will work closely with the Sr. Superintendent of Hotel to provide dedicated project management oversight, ensuring hotel projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within approved budgets, and in accordance with Lindblad's operational, brand, and guest experience standards. You will serve as a key link between shipboard teams, Technical, Supply Chain, Finance, contractors, vendors, and shipyards. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and managing hotel project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, risks, and deliverables from planning through execution and closeout - Supporting planning and follow-up of hotel scopes for drydocks, refits, refurbishments, and other vessel projects - Providing onsite project management during shipyards and major projects, coordinating all stakeholders - Maintaining detailed project budget tracking, commitments, forecasts, change orders, and actual expenditures - Coordinating invoice review, coding, and reconciliation during shipyard periods - Partnering with Supply Chain to track purchasing, manufacturing, shipping, delivery, and installation of hotel FF&E and equipment - Coordinating contractors and vendors, including scheduling, access, and completion of assigned scopes - Maintaining project scope documentation and tracking changes throughout execution - Providing regular updates on schedule, budget, procurement, risks, and completion status - Conducting project walkthroughs, maintaining punch lists, and ensuring proper project closeout - Working cross-functionally with Hotel Operations, Technical, Marine, Finance, and external vendors - Capturing lessons learned and helping improve project management processes across the fleet The position is based in Seattle with a hybrid work schedule (in-office Tuesday–Thursday, remote Monday–Friday). Extensive travel is required during drydock and major project periods. REQUIREMENTS: - BA/BS degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred) - 5–8 years of experience in project management, marine refurbishment, hospitality facilities, construction, shipyard operations, or related field - Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, budgets, contractors, schedules, and procurement activities - Cruise, maritime, hotel renovation, or shipyard experience (strongly preferred) - Project management certification such as PMP (preferred but not required) - Strong project management, organization, and execution skills - Strong financial discipline and ability to manage project budgets and cost tracking - Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and competing deadlines - Strong attention to detail, particularly around scopes, procurement, invoices, and change orders - Ability to identify project risks early and drive issues toward resolution - Strong contractor and vendor management skills - Comfortable working onsite in shipyards and operational vessel environments - Ability to travel extensively during drydock and major project periods - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and budget/procurement tracking systems - Strong English language skills (read, write, comprehend, and communicate professionally)
