The company is mass-producing advanced satellite platforms for missions from low Earth orbit to deep space, capitalizing on the era of heavy-lift launch vehicles and mass abundance.
As a Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) Testbed Engineer, you will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical test assets that integrate flight-like hardware with high-fidelity simulation environments. You will support validation tests that verify system design, flight and ground software, and operations for active missions in space. Your work directly impacts mission success through meticulous preparation and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with systems and software engineers to design high-fidelity vehicle testbeds with rigorous technical standards and comprehensive documentation
- Operating the HITL testbed to support system validation, verification, and investigations, including on-orbit operations
- Scaling testbeds using automation and flexible configuration to enable accurate results and parity with flight vehicles across various mission objectives
- Ensuring the flatsat testbed is ready for critical tasks that could directly impact mission success
