BillionToOne is a publicly traded genomics company (Nasdaq) focused on transforming healthcare through precision diagnostics in prenatal and cancer diagnostics. This role is a strategic leadership position reporting to the Chief Product Officer, responsible for driving growth through pharmaceutical partnerships in the oncology space. Key responsibilities include identifying and engaging pharmaceutical companies to build strategic partnerships for BillionToOne's oncology liquid biopsy solutions; negotiating and closing complex partnership agreements; representing the company at industry conferences and events; and collaborating with internal R&D, Clinical, and AI teams to identify new product opportunities and validate them with pharma partners. The role requires acting as the primary advocate for pharmaceutical customers, translating their needs into actionable product insights, and co-developing solutions that address unmet needs in oncology diagnostics. You will work cross-functionally with legal and finance teams to structure deal terms and maintain feedback loops with internal stakeholders to iterate on product concepts and improve partnership success rates. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of business development or product partnership experience in precision diagnostics or life sciences, with a proven track record of closing complex deals with pharmaceutical companies. You should have strong understanding of oncology diagnostics and liquid biopsy technologies, with the ability to bridge technical and business stakeholder perspectives. Exceptional communication, relationship-building skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset are essential. The role requires up to 25% travel to engage partners and attend industry events.
