Innovamat is a mission-driven educational organization specializing in research-based mathematics curriculum and teacher training for schools globally. Founded in Barcelona in 2017, Innovamat now operates in 9 countries, partnering with 31,000+ teachers across 3,300+ schools and reaching 720,000+ students. The company is one of the few in the sector with independently validated efficacy data and the first non-American organization to pass California State Board of Education adoption for a core math curriculum.
You will lead Innovamat's enterprise sales efforts across the US as Head of Sales, reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. This is a senior, highly strategic commercial role focused on identifying and winning high-value, long-term partnerships with large school districts, charter networks, and institutional partners. You will personally open doors, develop strategic relationships with senior decision-makers, and lead complex enterprise deals that create significant impact and accelerate growth.
Key responsibilities include: owning the end-to-end sales process for the highest-value opportunities across the US; navigating multi-stakeholder purchasing processes and building consensus; developing compelling commercial cases that connect Innovamat's offering to district priorities and student outcomes; building a strong network across the US education ecosystem and creating institutional access where relationships don't yet exist; shaping the US enterprise go-to-market strategy in partnership with the CRO and regional General Managers; and acting as a strategic commercial partner to regional teams on critical opportunities.
You will be a senior commercial force multiplier, personally driving transformational deals and helping define the playbook for selling into the largest education organizations in the country. This role offers the opportunity to build Innovamat's US enterprise business from the ground up, create access to key institutions, and directly shape how the organization approaches the market.
The role is based in the US, ideally in San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York, with approximately 40–50% travel expected.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Significant experience in enterprise sales, ideally selling complex products or services to large organizations
- Track record of taking ownership, solving ambiguous problems, and turning strategic thinking into tangible commercial outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior executives and decision-makers
- Experience owning a significant revenue target and building a predictable enterprise sales pipeline
- Experience selling into school districts, education networks, government, public sector, or another highly institutional environment is highly valuable
- Experience in a high-performing, fast-paced environment such as management consulting, investment banking, technology, startups, or scale-ups is a strong plus
- Experience scaling a sales organization or commercial function from an early stage is highly valued
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Statistics, or another highly analytical field is a plus
- Highly analytical and structured approach to solving complex problems and turning data into clear strategies
- Strong commercial judgment with the ability to identify and pursue high-value opportunities
- Comfortable navigating complex organizations, senior stakeholders, and long sales cycles
- Exceptional at building trust and creating institutional access
- High ownership, comfortable with ambiguity, and energized by building from scratch
- Deep care for improving education and translating commercial impact into meaningful outcomes for students and teachers
