Render is building a channel partnerships program from the ground up and seeking its first Head of Revenue Partnerships to lead this initiative, reporting to the VP of Revenue. You will establish and scale Render's relationships with development agencies, PE firms, and systems integrators to drive customer migration from competitive platforms and support new builds on Render's infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include mapping and qualifying partner types (agencies, PE firms, SIs) that align with Render's product and customer base. You'll build executive relationships to understand partner priorities, pricing, and delivery models, then develop commercial co-sell agreements. You'll create Render-specific enablement materials including decks, pilot frameworks, and ROI overviews, and design co-marketing models spanning customer dinners, digital campaigns, conferences, and joint events.
You'll work with the technology partner team on co-sell motions for large and enterprise accounts. For portfolio-model partners like PE firms, you'll design scaled activation programs—webinars, cohorts, office hours—that drive adoption across multiple portfolio companies without requiring 1:1 account touches. You own the full funnel from first engagement through partner-qualified referral to closed revenue.
You'll establish operating rhythms for each partnership, including regular engagement cadences, co-sell activity, and repeatable paths from initial contact to referral. Close collaboration with internal Sales, Delivery/CS, and Product Marketing teams ensures alignment on rep-partner workflows, deal registration hygiene, and channel conflict avoidance. You'll define and report on success metrics, evolving from early engagement signals to pipeline and revenue impact as the program matures. Over time, you'll build out a team of partner managers dedicated to each partner type.
Required: 10+ years in B2B partnerships, sales, GM, or solutions engineering roles, ideally at B2B SaaS, infrastructure, or PLG companies. You're a generalist with strong seller DNA—outcomes-obsessed and comfortable being measured on pipeline creation, deal influence, and revenue. You can build programs without a playbook, hypothesizing and iterating quickly. You have real experience with solutions partners, agencies, or SIs in co-sell or referral motions, and a proven track record closing deals with willingness to travel and engage partners in person. Strong cross-functional operating skills across Sales, Delivery/CS, Product Marketing, and Legal are essential. You operate comfortably at the executive level with both partner leadership and internally. A technical orientation sufficient to credibly engage developer-focused partners and discuss how AI is reshaping partner questions is required.
Nice-to-haves: experience building or scaling channel programs at infrastructure, dev-tools, or PLG companies; familiarity with partner tooling like Crossbeam or account mapping; experience with emerging AI SI/consulting partner categories.
