Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Head of Production for its Autonomous Airpower division. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the VP of AD&S Production, responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations, production execution, and strategic scaling of autonomous airpower systems from prototype to full-rate production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own manufacturing floor operations, headcount planning, and capital expenditure forecasting for the Autonomous Airpower division
- Manage all aspects of production, from advising engineering teams on design for manufacturability to factory design and execution
- Lead Production, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to execute Anduril's 5-year vision of scaling to produce thousands of high-quality aerospace products annually
- Drive the maturation of products from low-rate prototypes to full-rate production in Costa Mesa
- Establish and manage KPIs across financial performance, quality, and on-time delivery
- Partner with Engineering, Deployment Operations, and Program Management to ensure successful execution
- Oversee implementation of digital manufacturing technologies including PLM, ERP, MES, and QMS systems
- Ensure compliance with AS9100D aerospace quality standards
- Serve as strategic partner to VP of Manufacturing on manufacturing strategy
