Multiply Labs is a robotics company building automated manufacturing systems for advanced biologics (gene therapies, cell therapies, antibodies). Today, these life-saving treatments are produced through manual, labor-intensive processes costing $500K–$2M per patient. The company is automating this with robotics and AI to make therapies scalable and accessible. As Head of Product, you will own end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for the automated advanced biologics manufacturing platform. You will work closely with engineering, biosciences, and commercial teams to translate complex customer needs into scalable systems. This is a critical leadership role where you will build and mentor product and biosciences teams, steer strategic roadmaps with global pharmaceutical partners, and drive transformative impact. Key Responsibilities: - Define, communicate, and execute long-term product strategy and roadmap for automated advanced biologics manufacturing systems, aligning platform development with commercial milestones. - Partner closely with CEO, hardware, software, bioprocess, and quality leadership to drive cohesive product vision, architecture, and requirements. - Hire, mentor, and scale high-performing product and biosciences teams. - Oversee the Biosciences team in defining biological product requirements, executing internal cell testing, and partnering directly with pharma customers to analyze pilot data and demonstrate process comparability. - Make decisive prioritization tradeoffs balancing custom customer requirements, core platform standardization, and engineering improvements. - Serve as primary product partner to executive leadership and cross-functional teams at major pharmaceutical client accounts, translating customer goals into actionable product requirements. - Collaborate with Business Development, Strategic Alliance Management, Supply Chain, and Engineering to ensure product readiness for customer deployments and platform launches. - Drive systematic customer discovery, market analysis, and user interviews across the biopharma landscape to identify unmet clinical manufacturing needs and emerging trends. Qualifications: - 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years directly managing and scaling a team of Product Managers. - Proven track record leading complex hardware-software products, specifically involving robotics and electromechanical systems. - Demonstrated success taking complex, technical products from concept (0-to-1) through deployment and commercial scale. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field. - Superb executive communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills; thrive in fast-paced, high-accountability startup environment. - Hands-on proficiency with project and product management frameworks and tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, SmartSheets). Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience within biotech, medical devices, laboratory automation, or pharmaceutical manufacturing. - Experience operating within regulated development environments (e.g., FDA, cGMP, ISO 13485/9001 standards). - Track record of scaling a product organization through early commercialization at a high-growth, venture-backed company. - Experience navigating joint development milestones, pilots, and acceptance criteria with customers and partners. - Familiarity with advanced therapy (cell and gene, antibody, etc.) manufacturing or bioprocess development. - Experience incorporating computer vision, machine learning, or AI capabilities into products.
