Aspire is a financial operating system for global founders, combining banking, software, and automation into a single platform. The company serves over 50,000 startups and growing businesses worldwide, backed by Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Lightspeed, and partners with J.P. Morgan, Visa, and Wise.
You will be the most senior partnerships leader in the US, reporting to the Global Head of Partnerships and owning the US partner-sourced revenue target. This is a hands-on leadership role combining strategy and execution—you'll personally manage priority partner relationships while building and scaling the team and playbooks around you.
Key responsibilities:
**Own the Revenue Number**: Carry direct accountability for the US partner-sourced revenue target from day one. Build and manage a partner pipeline with sales-like rigor, including forecasting, source-of-truth reporting, and revenue attribution to individual partners. Stay personally close to priority partners rather than managing only from dashboards.
**Scale the Team**: Hire, onboard, and ramp a founding team of 1–3 partner managers covering priority verticals. Set the talent bar for great Aspire partner managers and protect it as the team grows. Coach the team on partner recruitment, activation, enablement, and joint go-to-market execution.
**Build Multi-Segment Partnership Programs**: Design and launch distinct partnership programs tailored to each of four priority verticals: corporate services firms and accountants; legal and immigration providers; e-commerce enablers and marketplaces; and accelerators, VCs, and startup ecosystem partners. Define partner tiering, incentive structures, and enablement playbooks for each segment. Build repeatable onboarding and activation playbooks so new partners ramp to productive referral volume quickly.
**Drive Partner-Sourced Pipeline and Revenue**: Identify and activate partner marketing and co-sell opportunities with each partner, in step with Field & Partner Marketing. Track partner-sourced pipeline, revenue contribution, and new-logo acquisition, reallocating effort toward what works. Own forecasting and reporting for the US partner-sourced number in a format leadership can act on.
**Shape the US Partnerships GTM Motion**: Work closely with Sales, Field & Partner Marketing, and Product to align partner-sourced pipeline with the broader US commercial motion. Define partner segmentation, prioritization, and coverage logic across the four verticals. Represent the partner voice back into Product and Marketing to sharpen ICP targeting and joint value propositions.
Success looks like: US partner-sourced revenue targets consistently hit and exceeded quarter over quarter; a founding team of partner managers hired, ramped, and performing across priority verticals; live, repeatable partnership programs running in each of the four key verticals; a high-quality, engaged partner base with growing referral volume and partner satisfaction; and sharp, actionable partner insights shared with Sales, Marketing, and Product.
**Requirements**:
- 10+ years of experience across GTM and Partnerships roles at fintech, SaaS, or e-commerce companies
- Proven experience building and leading teams with direct accountability for a partner or channel revenue target
- Track record of consistently delivering against quota or revenue targets
- Experience building multi-segment partnership programs—designing and scaling distinct partner motions across different partner types or verticals, not a single one-size-fits-all program
- Experience recruiting, activating, and managing partners across some combination of: corporate service providers/accountants, legal & immigration firms, e-commerce enablement platforms, and accelerators/VCs/startup ecosystem players
- Strong grasp of artificial intelligence concepts and ability to apply AI tools (e.g., Claude, n8n) and frameworks to solve real-world problems
- Existing relationships within one or more of Aspire's priority verticals in the US market (a plus)
- Experience with partner/referral tooling (PRM platforms, attribution systems) (a plus)
- Background in fintech, spend management, or payments with a partner-led motion (a plus)
- Experience partnering closely with a sales org selling to founders and finance leaders (a plus)
