Footprint is building Percy, an AI agent that automates financial crime investigations for banks and fintechs. The company has built a proprietary identity platform over four years and is experiencing rapid growth (5x revenue last year, targeting repeat in 2026). Backed by QED, Index, Box Group, and Lerer Hippeau, Footprint serves customers like Bilt, Nuvei, and MoonPay. As Head of Partnerships, you will own the channel strategy to position Percy as the recommended solution among consulting firms and advisors that serve financial institutions. This is a hands-on, foundational role reporting directly to the Head of GTM Strategy. Key responsibilities include: managing and growing existing channel partnerships to ensure mutual value creation; sourcing, structuring, and closing new referral deals with consulting firms and advisors serving banks and fintechs; converting partnerships into qualified pipeline and closed revenue alongside the sales team; enabling partners with compelling narratives, sales materials, and technical knowledge; and building repeatable deal structures, agreements, and processes as the function scales. You will need 5+ years in partnerships, business development, or consulting with a proven track record of converting relationships into revenue. A background in consulting to financial institutions or partnerships at a B2B fintech is essential—you must understand how banks, fintechs, and their advisors make buying decisions. You should be both a closer and relationship builder, capable of opening doors, building trust, and structuring mutually beneficial deals. Commercial acumen is critical; you think in terms of pipeline and revenue, not vanity metrics. You're energized by building a function from scratch at an early-stage company without an established playbook. Nice-to-have qualifications include an existing network of consulting firms or channel partners in the fintech/banking space, exposure to compliance, financial crime, risk, fraud, or identity domains, and prior experience launching partnerships or channel programs.
