As Head of Operations Engineering at Linktree, you will own the production infrastructure that powers the company's AI ambitions. This role bridges platform engineering and internal enablement, ensuring AI features are reliable, cost-effective, and widely adopted across the organization.
On the platform side, you will own the complete AI operations stack: model and prompt versioning systems, evaluation harnesses, monitoring and observability, cost tracking, latency optimization, and rollback procedures. You'll establish evaluation standards that ensure features measurably work before and after launch, making AI economics sustainable by treating inference cost, latency, and reliability as first-class metrics with clear ownership.
On the enablement side, you will drive internal AI adoption by building tooling and workflows that change how Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Support teams work. This includes establishing proportionate governance around data handling, vendor risk, and pre-launch evaluation—guardrails that teams follow because they make sense, not because they're mandated.
You will report to Rob Erdin and collaborate across Data, Engineering, and Product leadership. You'll have the latitude to decide what to build, what to buy, and what to leave alone. You'll mentor engineers and analysts working on AI surfaces and raise the operational bar across the organization.
