Quince, a Series D-backed direct-to-consumer essentials brand operating on a manufacturer-to-consumer model, is seeking a Head of Global Inventory Control & Strategy to build and lead a world-class inventory control program from the ground up.
You will own the complete inventory control strategy, standards, playbook, and governance across Quince's growing global fulfillment network. This is a high-impact role reporting to senior leadership, responsible for ensuring inventory integrity, accuracy, and efficiency as the company scales internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Accuracy & Shrink Control: Establish and own book-to-physical accuracy targets across all global nodes. Design and implement shrink control frameworks to identify, quantify, and remediate inventory loss at every point in the supply chain.
Cycle Count Governance: Execute the global cycle count cadence strategy and oversee counts and audit protocols across all company-operated facilities and 3PL partners.
Reconciliation & Root Cause Analysis: Own the inventory adjustment governance model and drive cross-functional root cause analysis on systemic variances. Maintain SOX-compliant inventory controls with documented approval thresholds, audit trails, and segregation of duties. Reduce unresolved adjustment volume quarter over quarter with measurable targets.
WMS Integrity: Ensure inventory records in the warehouse management system accurately reflect physical reality. Partner with technology and operations teams to identify and close data integrity gaps, latency issues, and process breakdowns.
Global SOP Design: Develop standardized operating procedures for inventory control that scale across geographies and facility types, ensuring consistency and compliance.
You will work cross-functionally with supply chain, finance, technology, and operations teams. The ideal candidate has deep experience in inventory control at scale, understands both operational and financial controls, and can build systems and teams that maintain accuracy while supporting rapid growth.
